There's no known name for the next iteration, but it might be called the Apple Watch Series 10, as it would follow the Apple Watch Series 9. If it follows the Series 9's footsteps, we expect two versions of the watch, 41mm and 45mm, and the usual offering of cellular connectivity and upgraded case materials for extra. However, according to Bloomber's Mark Gurman, this next watch could be the most comprehensive overhaul to the device, in commemoration of the Apple Watch's 10th anniversary. What Was Announced at the June 2024 Event? Apple's WWDC event introduced a slew of new software upgrades with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI). That lineup included vision OS 2, the first major update to the operating system running the Vision Pro headset. We also saw all of the updates about iOS 18, watchOS 11, iPadOS 18, macOS 15 (called Sequoia), and tvOS 18.
